UNDP, Selex Motors and PoA Carbon jointly implemented a pilot project in reducing GHG emissions and generating carbon credits using electric motorbikes, and provided experience for the implementation of other projects on carbon credit generation and exchange under the framework of article 6.2 of the Paris Agreement.
The project requires a survey of fuel consumption for a number of suitable models of two-wheeled motorbikes and mopeds, with the purpose of building a baseline emission curve for two-wheeled motorbikes and mopeds. machines that use fossil fuels. The data collected will be the basis for calculating emission reductions in converting vehicles from using fossil fuels to using electricity.
